To celebrate the arrival in Italian cinemas of Marvel Studios' Thunderbolts*, we had the honour of transforming the extraordinary hexagonal square of Palmanova into an unprecedented lighting stage.
In this unique setting, at the centre of the starry city - a UNESCO heritage site and a jewel of Renaissance architecture - we created a spectacular lighting structure that brought to life the film's iconic asterisk and the six protagonists of the new Marvel line-up.
Thanks to 151,200 lighting points and an area of 9,000 square metres involved, the square came alive in a choreography of lights that fused technology and visual narration, enhancing the scenic power of the place.
We wanted to create a dialogue between the powerful aesthetics of the film and the historical beauty of Palmanova, offering the public an immersive experience combining cinema, light and territory.
